Youth Convention 2008!

We had a blast in Kansas City! The youth played, prayed, slept (a little), sang, praised and ate. The chaperones had as much fun as the kids but all agreed they aren't as young as they used to be. :)

Passion, do you have it?

Passion is a word you hear Family Church talking a lot about lately. CHOSEN is no exception. In fact, youth leaders Jake and Phil, along with Pastor Lesh have issued challenges to CHOSEN to identify their passions for God. Last night at our Fishing Tournament/Farm Fun party at the Shields' home, Pastor Lesh asked the youth to be meditating about their passions and to be the first youth to call him after 6:00 p.m. on Sunday evening to share their passion and win a prize.

THE WINNER IS: Jessie! She called at exactly 6:00 p.m to share what drives her in her relationship with Jesus Christ the most.

You guys didn't know Jake was so musically talented!! hehe..we don't either! haha Just kidding..Jake had us rolling in the floor laughing during his "concert". If you weren't there, you missed it!
